Darlly Maia - "voz e violão". An MPB – Popular
Brazilian Music - concert at its most intimate and personal expression.
Bossa Nova, samba and forró are interpreted in their most
purest, Brazilian way: voice and guitar. Darlly Maia
presents covers of Tom Jobim, João Gilberto, Caetano Veloso,
Gilberto Gil, Chico César, Chico Buarque, Djavan and many others
through small drops of saudade.

Darlly Maia & Trío Forróbódó. Darlly Maia &
Trío Forróbódó prepare a disc and a tour for 2012. As soon as the
first dates are confirmed they will be available on this web page. Meanwhile, to remind
you, forró is a very popular Brazilian musical genre born in the
north east and ideal to be danced in couples. The music is funny and
contagious. During the concert Darlly Maia & Trío Forróbódó
recreate this festive ambience and show the most popular music of
| Darlly Maia drum&brazz project. Darlly Maia and musical producer Darwin Barboza gather to start a particular project: a reinterpretation of Brazilian Music classics, samba or pop, from a different perspective. The results are up to date versions, which maintain their harmonic or musical complexity at the same time as their acoustic and instrumental aspect. This concert currently on tour presents the disc launched in Europe at the end of 2008.
